If you made a Time Machine backup of your Mac, Migration Assistant can use that backup to restore your personal files, including apps and everything in your user account.

  3. Timetrouble Mac Os X

If you prefer to restore just a few files or earlier versions of those files, learn how to use Time Machine to restore specific files.

Use Migration Assistant

  1. If you need to reinstall macOS, do that before continuing. For example, if your Mac starts up to a flashing question mark, you need to first reinstall macOS.
  2. Make sure that your Time Machine backup disk is connected to your Mac and turned on.
  3. Open Migration Assistant on your Mac. It's in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder.
If your Mac starts up to a setup assistant, which asks for details like your country and network, continue to the next step, because the setup assistant includes a migration assistant.
  4. When asked how you want to transfer your information, select the option to transfer from a Mac, Time Machine backup, or startup disk. Then click Continue.
  5. Select your Time Machine backup, then click Continue.
  6. Choose a backup and click Continue.
  7. Select the information to transfer.
In this example, John Appleseed is a macOS user account. If it has the same name as an account already on your Mac, you're prompted to either rename the old account or replace the one on your Mac. If you rename, the old account will appear as a separate user on your Mac, with a separate home folder and login. If you replace, the old account will delete and then replace the account on your Mac, including everything in its home folder.
  8. Click Continue to start the transfer. Large transfers might need several hours to complete.

Download the executable that corresponds with your OS. Unzip (if needed) 3. Double Click the application, it should run. If it doesn't run, right click on the app and select open, a pop-up window will appear, select open.

  • See the Supporting Multiple SDKs docs for more information on the MACOSXVERSIONMAXALLOWED macro. Keep these three things in mind: Copy only what you need. Wrap your declaration in MACOSXVERSIONMAXALLOWED checks so that, if an SDK is used that already contains these declarations, your declaration does not conflict with the declaration in the.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for all your comments - it's really wonderful to see everyone's enthusiasm for a desktop version of Timepage! We don't always get a chance to respond to every comment so here is a general update of where we are at - our apologies for not commenting sooner.
It's a large undertaking and investment to build and release a Mac version of Timepage (regardless of Catalyst), and we're a small team - we're doing the best we can to prioritise.
Our plan is to release web and desktop version of Actions first, to enable syncing across iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac/Windows. We've recently taken a big step with this approach - you can access Actions on the web at https://actions.moleskinestudio.com
Timepage is currently iOS only, but it syncs with your calendar provider (Google/Apple/Exchange/etc) so you can use any calendar app you'd like on non-iOS devices and everything will stay up to date.
We are currently building a macOS version of Timepage but it's a huge project - so while we're hoping to release it this year we can't confirm a definite timeline just yet. Thanks again for your support and feedback, we'll keep you up to date as best we can!

I’m an iOS/macOS developer myself, and I recently built a counterfeit Timepage for macOS just to have a consistent experience across my devices. I hope this expresses how eagerly we all want a desktop version of this app. Looking forward to the official launch!

@DrClavan: This app is designed for personal use, but I guess it would hurt if I share it with you guys. I made a new version for public release and you can download it here: https://github.com/rogerchenchenn/timepage-for-macos
I will immediately remove the file if bonobo or moleskine ever ask me to, don’t be surprised if one day the link fails. Enjoy the app!

@Roger Chen: Very impressive! I like it a lot. Great work, especially seeing that you have built it to start learning how to code for MacOS....

im really looking forward to when this is available to use on a web browser. I love the design and the heatmap feature, i love that in the morning it gives me a rundown of how busy my day is going to be BUT I dont think i'm getting as much out of it if I can only use it on my phone. I have a one month sub to see if I can swing it just on my mobile but if it feels too clunky, I'll just have to wait to see if it ever becomes browser compatible. would love an update to see how it's going!!!
